Things To Know When Traveling To Bogota

Bogota is in perpetual fall sprinkled with spring. The end of November is considered the beginning of “summer” but dress how you would dress during a warm fall season on the east coast. The key is to layer because one minute, it can drizzle and be very cold, and the next minute it can be really sunny and warm.

*please remember that you will be 9,000 ft. above sea level, so we recommend taking it easy the first day and allow your body to adjust. The altitude doesn’t affect everyone and we don’t want to scare you, but we just want you to be able to enjoy yourselves the entire time you’re there! For example, it would be a good idea to reduce your alcoholic consumption by half on your first night out.
